ASSARIA, Kan. - When agriculture and pop culture combine this is what you get. A parody video of the LMFAO hit ‘I’m Sexy and I Know It’ called ‘I’m Farming and I Grow It’.
The small town farmers can be seen bucking hay, feeding cattle and operating heavy machinery in the video, while lip-syncing to the party track.
“When I step up to the bunk, yeah, this is what I see: All the hungry cattle are staring at me. I got passion for my plants and I ain’t afraid to show it. Show it. Show it. I’m farming and I grow it."
Greg, Kendal and Nathan Peterson are three brothers that work on their family farm in Kansas. In an attempt to promote agriculture in a fun way, the brothers put their sister, Laura, behind a camera and did some filming of their day to day duties as farmers.
The brothers hope the video makes people laugh and educates them about agriculture.
"None of us could be eating anything without agriculture, we want people to respect it," Nathan told KSN-TV .
The video was uploaded to YouTube on June 25th and has since received over 1 million views.
