HOKENDAUQUA, Pa. (AP) - Why did a Pennsylvania bride allegedly stab her groom eight hours before the wedding?

That's the question swirling around a bizarre weekend homicide as a 31-year-old woman faces charges that she stabbed her fiance in the chest during an argument inside their Allentown-area apartment.

Police were called to the second-floor apartment in Whitehall Township just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday and found the groom, 36-year-old Billy Brewster, with two stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The motive remains unclear.

The suspect, Na Cola Franklin, faces a preliminary hearing on Friday -- on what would have been her fiance's birthday.
