Macy's to build 'world's largest women's shoe department'

NEW YORK - Shoes always fit, no matter how much you weigh or how old you are. So no wonder shoe sales are lucrative no matter what shape the economy is in.

With that in mind, Macy's is opening what it calls the world's largest women's shoe department this month at its New York flagship store.

Employees will use iPod touches for transactions and quick product retrieval, ensuring that they will never have to leave your side.
