Robin Roberts hopes to be back on "GMA" in February

NEW YORK - "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts could be back on the air in a few weeks.
On "GMA" Monday morning, Roberts said she’s expecting to back within weeks, not months. She is aiming for a February return.
Roberts has been undergoing treatment for MDS, a blood and bone marrow disorder. She has been on medical leave since August. Roberts received a bone marrow transplant from her sister shortly after going on medical leave.
She said this morning the latest bone marrow tests showed no 'abnormalities' in her marrow, which means her body is free of the disease
The news clears the way for the 51-year-old to return to work. She says starting next week, she will begin a "dry run" of her work schedule.
Roberts says she will be get up early, go through show and make-up preps. Doctors will evaluate how well she responds to the work-related stress.
