CINCINNATI - Even though Christmas is over, UPS is not going to slow down. As more consumers shopped online for the holidays, they will return those unwanted gifts.

UPS is labeling Thursday as “National Returns Day” and they anticipate more than 520,000 packages will be shipped back to retailers on Jan. 3   alone. UPS also expects to transport more than 2 million packages during the whole first week in January 2013.

This year, more retailers are focusing on reverse logistics and offering free returns. Convenient UPS returns options allow consumers to drop off packages at their local The UPS Store or hand it to their UPS driver.

If you have any questions on holiday shipping returns you can follow @UPS on Twitter and join them at 3 p.m. Thursday for a tweet party to learn helpful tips for holiday returns.
