CINCINNATI - There is excitement around the Tri-State after the announcement that the All-Star game was coming to Great American Ballpark in 2015.
Some of the area's youngest fans expressed how excited they are for the big game.
Kennedy Daigle, popularly known at "Super Red" loves the Reds. Daigle was decked out during his interview Wednesday with 9 On Your Side.
"It would just be fun. You can see all the other players, get autographs," he said. "It's interesting that it gets so much attention. It's really cool sometimes and you get to see all the fans that support people."
Reds fever filled the Linn Street YMCA in downtown Cincinnati. Three brothers who are part of the youth basketball league at the Y couldn't stop talking about the All-Star game.
"It's going to be be our first time going to a Reds All-Star game together," Reds fan Jason Brooks said.
"You can go down there, see all the All-Stars and see how baseball is really played," Reds fan Jonathan Brooks said.
