Snow blankets Eastern Indiana, northwest Tri-State hit hardest by storm

LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. - Our 9 On Your Side crews hit the roads in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana to bring you complete coverage of the storm's impact on the Tri-State.
The day started with driving rain mixed with sleet in Northern Kentucky but as you moved north and west the conditions quickly changed.
A white blanket of snow covered I-74 and communities around Harrison. That's where our crews found plow truck drivers working to clear parking lots and hardware stores busy with people stocking up on salt.
Around noon a break in the storm gave people a chance to catch up on what had fallen throughout the morning.
Indiana State Police urge you not to call police for road conditions because they are busy with emergency calls. If you find yourself in a car accident where there is only damage to the vehicles, police in Indiana say you should move the vehicles to a safe area, when possible, and exchange insurance information.
