Police located a body in Goebel Park late Sunday morning.
The body of a 34-year-old male was found in a wooded area near Philadelphia Street, Covington police report. The park sits between MainStrasse Village and I-75.
Police said they received a call from a payphone on Pike Street about the body and that the caller was nowhere to be found once they arrived on scene.
The body was at the location for what appears to be hours, not days, police officials said. Police also said the body was located by what appeared to be a homeless camp.
The Kenton County Coroner reported no signs of struggle to suggest foul play. Actual cause of death has not been determined.
