HAMILTON, Oh. - Police are investigating the theft of two puppies in Hamilton that occurred in the past two weeks.

The most recent theft happened to a family who said their 2-month-old pitbull puppy, Sheba, was stolen off their front porch in the 1400 block of Welsh Avenue on Feb. 3.

“We let her outside that morning and we went to go check on her,” dog owner Tiffany Hicks said. “[We] went to let her back in and she was gone. She was off her leash. It was untied and everything.”

“You feel lost and empty because you don't know what the future is gonna bring for her,” dog owner Earl Wood said. “Is she gonna be a fight dog? Is she gonna be raised vicious? Is she gonna be raised for a family? You just don't know.”

If you have any information on the stolen puppies, please contact the Hamilton Police Department at (513) 868-5811.
