FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Officials say two Kentucky National Guard members were killed and two were injured in a single-car accident in North Dakota, where the troops were training.
The Kentucky National Guard on Friday said 31-year-old Sgt. Ronald J. Forsyth of Ryland Heights and 23-year-old Spc. Jason S. Burnette of Manchester were killed in the Thursday crash.
The two other Kentucky National Guard members who were injured were treated and released from a local hospital. Their names were not released.
The soldiers were participating in engineer-related training at Camp Grafton Training Center in North Dakota. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
