Amended version of smoking ban passes in Kenton County

KENTON CO., Ky. - Kenton County's Fiscal Court voted to pass an amended version of the proposed smoking ban Tuesday night.
The court decided the county will uphold the ban in all establishments, except those where individuals under the age of 18 are not allowed or businesses that do not employ anyone under the age of 18.
Campbell County's Fiscal Court voted to pass the ban last week. Kenton County is the second Northern Kentucky county to pass it.
The ban goes into effect in April of 2011.
