Man accused of killing N.Ky. woman to appear in Boone County courtroom for lowering of bond

BURLINGTON, Ky. - A man accused of killing a Northern Kentucky woman will be in court on Wednesday, as a judge is set to lower his bond.

David Dooley, 38, is currently being held in the Boone County Jail on $500,000 bond.

He is charged with murdering his former co-worker, Michelle Mockbee, inside Thermo-Fischer Scientific in May.

Mockbee had worked there for 13 years, and Dooley was the janitor for the Florence business.

Dooley is charged with murder, plus kidnapping and tampering with physical evidence.

Dooley is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m.
