BURLINGTON, Ky. - Joshua Crosthwaite is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning in Boone County to answer to charges that he raped a 14-year-old girl last year.
Crosthwaite is charged with rape, sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor in connection with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl while both were at a party in Union, Ky., on Nov. 25, 2011.
Detectives from the Boone County Sheriff's Department and U.S. Marshal's Office arrested Crosthwaite at his home in Lexington, Ky.
Authorities say Crosthwaite also provided the girl with the "morning after pill" the next day. He was released on bond on Jan. 26, 2012. His jury trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 24.
