BURLINGTON, Ky. - One robbery suspect is in police custody after a pair of suspects led authorities on a chase through Northern Kentucky early Wednesday morning.
The chase started on Taylor Drive in Burlington when police received a call that two suspects were breaking into vehicles. Florence police chased the suspects, who were driving a stolen vehicle, from Taylor Drive to Burlington Pike and then onto southbound I-75.
The suspects bailed from the vehicle at the Richwood exit while it was still running. The vehicle crashed into a wall and police slowed down to avoid hitting it. The police vehicle was rear-ended by a box truck, but no one was injured.
Authorities caught up with one of the suspects who fled the vehicle and arrested him. Police are still searching for the second suspect.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
