COVINGTON, Ky. - Some local young professionals have the chance to visit France with all expenses paid, and you could be one of them!
The Covington Rotary Club is looking for a group of young professionals to travel to Grenoble, France, next March for a four-week Group Study Exchange program.
In order to apply:
You will experience firsthand the way of life, customs, and vocational practices in the Grenoble, France area, while you share information about your home community and state.
There are a few requirements expected upon your return:
The purpose of Group Study Exchange is to promote international understanding and world peace and goodwill through personal connection.
While abroad, team members stay in Rotarians' homes and have the opportunity to meet their professional counterparts.
They will also give presentations about Kentucky to Rotary clubs and other groups in France.
Speaking and/or understanding French is NOT required, but can be helpful.
The Rotary Foundation provides round-trip airfare, while Rotarians in Grenoble will provide meals, lodging and group travel within their district.
The only expenses to team members are those for personal and incidental expenses while traveling abroad.
