COVINGTON, Ky. - The Covington library will be closed Thursday and Friday for a renovation and expansion project.
The Erlanger and Wiliam E. Durr branches will be open on Thursday and Friday. If you have items on hold at the Covington location, they will be available until Tuesday, Oct. 23.
The Covington library will be closed for those two days so that staff and construction personnel can prepare the new circulation area and move all of the items and materials in the Children's department to its new space on the lower level.
As the oldest library in Northern Kentucky, much of the work being done to the 37 year old building is to bring the facility up to the most current code and to replace outdated systems and infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2013.
