Man dies after train strikes him in Crescent Springs

CRESCENT SPRINGS, Ky. - A man is dead after a train struck him in Northern Kentucky Tuesday morning.
A train hit the man on the railroad tracks on a bridge near the area of Sandbank and Bromley-Crescent Springs roads near Crescent Springs at some point Tuesday morning. The man, whose name has not yet been released, died after the train hit him.
Authorities say the train that hit the man was a CSX train . Calls to CSX representatives were not immediately returned.
Officials have not released information about what the man was doing on the tracks at the time of the accident.
Erlanger police are investigating the death and they have not released any additional details at this time.
