DAYTON, Ky. - Police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian in Northern Kentucky and then fled the scene early Wednesday morning.

A driver hit a pedestrian in the 600 block of Clay Street in Dayton, Ky., at about 12:30 a.m. Emergency crews transported the victim to an area hospital, but the injuries were not serious, according to officials.

Officials are searching for the driver who left the scene of the accident in a green passenger car with Ohio plates and a cracked windshield. Police also say the suspected driver is described as a white male wearing a Cincinnati Reds ball cap and a Jesus chain around his neck.
