Erlanger police searching for Ameristop robber

ERLANGER, Ky. - Erlanger police are searching for a suspect who robbed an Ameristop on Dixie Highway.
At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, a white male with blue eyes entered Ameristop and showed a handgun. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled south on Dixie Hwy.
The suspect was wearing a black leather jacket over a black hoodie, jeans and white gym shoes.
Erlanger police patrol officers arrived and secured the scene with assistance from Elsmere and Edgewood officers. An Erlanger K-9 was called to the scene to track the suspect but lost his trail after 30 minutes.
