ERLANGER, Ky. - Veterans got first pick today at a job fair in Erlanger.
More than 100 companies took part in the annual Kentucky One Stop Job Fair.
For the first hour of the fair only veterans were admitted. After that hour the general public was welcome.
Every company in attendance told 9 On Your Side it has openings it needs to fill right away.
Total Quality Logistics had its military recruiting specialist on hand to hire veterans.
“Bringing these people, men and women, into the workforce where they would otherwise not have opportunities and put them into a solid career opportunity,” Matthew Disher, TGL Military Recruitment Specialist, said Tuesday.
More than 500 job seekers showed up for the event. It’s one of Northern Kentucky’s largest job fairs.
