ERLANGER, Ky. - No charges will be filed in a fatal crash in Northern Kentucky that happened in June of 2012.

Boone County Sheriff's Office says Brooke Chance, 24, along with her husband Kyle Chance, 29, and Kelsey Ryan, 21, were walking eastbound alongside Donaldson Road after leaving the Mary, Queen of Heaven Church Festival, located at 1150 Donaldson Road in Erlanger.

Deputies say while walking to their car from the festival, the three were hit by a car.

Emergency crews transported Brooke to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she later died. Brooke was the mother of an 8-month-old daughter.

Kyle and Ryan sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle that hit them did not sustain any injuries.

The commonwealth's attorney, Linda Talley, announced Tuesday that there is not enough evidence to charge the driver involved in the incident.
