FLORENCE, Ky. - A Northern Kentucky plant is doubling in size and bringing 200 new jobs to the area.
L'Oreal USA in Florence held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday to announce it's $42 million expansion.
The expansion is thanks to tax incentives from the state of Kentucky.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear attended the announcement in Boone County. Governor Beshear was joined by Chairman of the Northern Kentucky Tri-Ed and Boone County Judge Executive Gary Moore.
The L'Oreal USA plant on New Buffington Road makes hair care products, including shampoos and conditioners for the Garnier brand. It's one of six L'Oreal USA manufacturing facilities in the United States.
