FLORENCE, Ky - Thousands gathered to attend the first service at the new Crossroads Church located at the former Old Time Pottery site off Mall Road near Florence Mall.
The total attendance for the first service was 3,350 people, according to Crossroads.
"There are a lot of people who already live in Northern Kentucky who attend Crossroads in Oakley and so we wanted to have a location that was closer for them," said Natalie Hastings with Crossroads Church. "It gives them an opportunity to invite their friends."
The non-denominational church also has locations in Oakley and in Mason.
Crossroads currently serves more than 15,000 people in their two current locations. The Florence location will offer services every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
