FLORENCE, Ky. - The Bluegrass State is seeing some extra luck after a winning lottery ticket for $7.5 million was sold in Northern Kentucky — a day after state lottery officials announced a winning Powerball ticket was sold in the same area.

A winning Decades of Dollars ticket was sold at the Florence Meijer store located at 4990 Houston Road, according to information released from the Kentucky Lottery Friday. The ticket is for the top prize of $250,000 a year for 30 years, which totals $7.5 million.

The winning Decades of Dollars ticket matched the six numbers drawn from the 47 used in the game. The winning numbers, which were announced Thursday night, were: 3 –11 –22 –32 –35 –47.

Also, the Kentucky Lottery announced Thursday morning that a $1 million winning Powerball ticket was sold at a Speedway store at 631 Donaldson Highway in Erlanger.

"We're looking forward to greeting Kentucky's second winner of Decades of Dollars," said Kentucky Lottery's VP of Communications Chip Polston in a news release.

Players should check their tickets and sign the back of it if the numbers match. As of 11 a.m. Friday, no one had come forward claiming to have the ticket.
