FLORENCE, Ky. - A woman was struck by a vehicle in front of a gas station in Florence, Ky., Wednesday night, police say.

The incident happened in front of the Marathon station in the 7800 block of Dixie Highway around 10 p.m.

Police say Linda Miller, 51, was crossing the street when she was hit by a car driven by Charles Bradley. She was not in the crosswalk when she walked in front of the car, according to officials.

Miller is listed in critical condition at University Hospital.

Police say drugs, alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
