Visitation, funeral set for Ft. Mitchell man allegedly killed by girlfriend

FT. MITCHELL, Ky. - The community of Ft. Mitchell will say goodbye to Ryan Poston at his Thursday evening funeral after his girlfriend allegedly shot and killed him over the weekend.

Poston’s visitation will be at Blessed Sacrament Church on Dixie Highway from 3 to 6 p.m. with the funeral following at 7 p.m.

Poston's girlfriend, Shayna Hubers, told police she shot Poston in self defense, according to court documents. Hubers' bond was drastically changed this week from $2 million to $ 1 million and then up to $5 million. Hubers is set to appear in court Friday morning.

In lieu of flowers you are asked to make a donation to the Ryan Carter Poston Scholarship Fund at the Blessed Sacrament School in recognition of his academic accomplishments, moral integrity and loving heart.
