FORT MITCHELL, Ky. - A Northern Kentucky family is safe after their house caught fire early Wednesday morning.
A fire broke out at a home in the 100 block of Beechwood Road in Fort Mitchell at about 1:30 a.m. The fire started in the back of the house and quickly moved inside and spread to the attic, according to officials.
The family escaped from the flames and officials say no one sustained injuries in the fire.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire. Officials have not released information about the estimated cost of damage.
