On Saturday, more than two dozen corporate racing teams will set their eyes on the finish line with one goal in mind -- help provide medical care to the local homeless population.
The annual Hopebox derby in Ft Wright will help raise money to provide free medical care and prescription medications from HealthPoint's Pike Street Clinic for the homeless.
The Hopebox derby runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Wright's Summit Executive Park at the corner of Kyles Lane and Dixie Highway in Ft. Wright. Aside from the races, there will also be a car show, rides for the kids, and food and drinks.
Last year's Hopebox Derby raised $51,000 for the Pike Street Clinic. HealthPoint Family Care is a nonprofit medical and dental practice serving northern Kentucky. For more information on the Hopebox derby click here .
