HEBRON, Ky. - A group of Northern Kentucky students are OK after they were involved in an accident involving a school bus in Boone County Tuesday morning.

A school bus with 17 Conner middle and high school students was involved in an accident at the intersection of North Bend Road and Southpark Drive in Hebron at about 7 a.m.

Dustin Baker, 16, was driving his vehicle northbound on North Bend Road, when he struck the school bus that was starting to turn left onto Southpark Drive, according to a police report. Baker hit the bus in the right read axle and officials have not released information about the estimated cost of damage.

Neither Baker, the students nor the bus driver, 56-year-old Gregory Clayton, sustained injuries in the crash.

Connor school representatives sent another school bus to the scene and transported the 17 students to the school.

The accident caused traffic delays until about 8:15 a.m.
