HEBRON, Ky. - Need to fill up after a trip to the Greater Cincinnati Airport? Very soon, a gas station will be available to those entering and leaving the airport.

Airport Plazas, LLC, a specialized developer of retail gas plazas inside airport grounds, announced Tuesday they closed on tax free bond financing for its next plaza at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

The plaza will be built off of I-275 and will be within walking distance of the terminals.

They said the plaza will cost about $8.5 million to build. It will offer fuel, a car wash, light auto repair, a restaurant and a small convenience store. The plaza will feature a main building of 9,800 square feet and a fueling canopy with over 40 parking spaces.

George Abi Zeid, president and CEO of Airport Plazas, said the project is expected to break ground in March and open in October. He also said it will create short and long term jobs.
