CARROLLTON, Ky. - Rockabilly legend Art Adams and his band will be performing during the September 18 “Play er’ Again” Concert Series at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton.
Adams is a Carrollton native. With a 2003 CD release of “Rock Crazy Baby”, Adams’ career has been re-energized by both the older fans, as well as new lovers of the genre.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. on the grounds of the Butler-Turpin State Historic House at the state park. Guests should bring a chair. The free concert is made possible through a grant from the Carrollton-Carroll County Tourism Commission.
General Butler State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, restaurant, camping, boating, hiking and biking, along with other recreational activities.
