BURLINGTON, Ky. - The trial is set to begin Monday for a man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl last year in Northern Kentucky.

Joshua Crosthwaite will be in the Boone County Courthouse Monday morning after he was charged with rape, sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor. The charges stem from an alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl while both were at a party in Union, Ky., on Nov. 25, 2011.

Detectives from the Boone County Sheriff's Department and U.S. Marshal's Office arrested Crosthwaite at his home in Lexington, Ky.

Authorities say Crosthwaite provided the girl with the "morning after pill" the next day. He was released on bond on Jan. 26, 2012.
