UNION, Ky. - A passenger in a single-vehicle crash in Union, Ky., was taken to a Tri-State hospital via medical helicopter Sunday.
The accident took place near Triple Crown Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m. Officials say Mary Inyart, 32, drifted off the right side of Frogtown Road and sideswiped a utility pole. Her 4-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and was flown to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. The driver reportedly was not injured.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is working to reconstruct the scene of the crash.
