EDGEWOOD, Ky. - A new home is under construction in Northern Kentucky that is creating a buzz in the community.
A 15,000 square foot custom-built home that sits on 7 acres of land is under construction on Turkeyfoot Road in Edgewood, Ky.
The exterior is inspired by turn-of-the-century classic French chateau estates. Both the interior and exterior are crafted by local artists, vendors and craftsman.
"All of the custom work in this house is coming from all over the world. All the fireplaces are from Europe and all the gaslights came from New Orleans. We've had to scour the world to find some really cool stuff that nobody around here has," said project manager Linda Cochran.
The home will be open to local residents during the Northern Kentucky Cavalcade of Homes in May.
