Riverbend has new app

CINCINNATI - Just in time for the 2011 summer concert season the Riverbend Music Center and PNC Pavillion officially unveiled it's new smartphone application in the Apple App Store Wednesday. The app gives up-to-date concert details, announcements and links to view and purchase tickets.

The application also provides general venue information, such as rules, box office information, directions, parking, special offers and permitted and non-permitted items.

Before the first concert on May 20, an updated version of the application will be available with a "find my car" option and additional interactive seating capabilities. The app is free at itunes.apple.com/us/app/riverbend-music-center/id430682629 .

An application for Android devices should be available by mid-summer. There are also plans for a similar application for the Taft Theatre.
