CINCINNATI - A small part of Cincinnati's downtown is playing Hollywood Friday as it becomes another background for the new George Clooney movie.
Clooney is shooting scenes for his new movie "The Ides of March".
Earlier in the day, crews were shooting scenes at the at the Stockyard Bank and Trust building.
The bank sits on the corner of 4th and Race streets downtown. On the three corners opposite the bank, crowds of over 250 people stood with camera's and smartphones, hoping to get a glimpse of the hometowm movie star, Ryan Gosling, or one of the other stars of "The Ides of March".
Shooting began around 8 a.m., and by that time a crowd had already gathered. Plenty of Cincinnati police officers were on hand to help keep everyone safe.
A few scenes are being shot of the actors coming in and out of the bank building, so from time to time movie crews are closing off 4th Street between Race and Elm streets for those exterior scenes. Movie crews have also had to move the crowd for some scenes because they don't want the crowd to be seen in the reflections of the bank windows.
Crews have since moved to other parts of downtown.
