Turkeyfoot Middle School begins 'Close The Deal'

EDGEWOOD, Ky. - Turkeyfoot Middle School will "Close The Deal" for post secondary education.
Tuesday school directors explained their plan to make clearer the pathways to college for high school students. With the Close The Deal program, students and parents will be able to attend workshops with a variety of subjects. Students can learn how to fill out a college application and parents will learn how to fill out financial aid (FAFSA) forms. Keynote speakers and college admission officials will visit schools throughout the year for presentations on the importance of college.
Kenton County officials hope that reaching children in middle and high school will inspire them to strive for post-secondary education.
The Close The Deal program was started in Louisville in 2008. Today, the campaign kicked off at the Edgewood school.
