2 inmates escape from Blackburn Complex in Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Fayette County.

According to WKYT-TV ( http://bit.ly/11kW3qh ), the two men walked away from the minimum security prison Saturday night. Officials didn't elaborate on the escape.

Christopher Melton, 23, was serving a 6-year sentence for theft and evading police. He's described as a 6-foot-1 white male, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Tyler Roberts, 21, was serving a 10-year sentence for burglary, theft, arson, tampering with evidence, and possession of a handgun. He's about 5-foot-9, with black hair and brown eyes.
