CINCINNATI - U.S. Bank Arena was filled to capacity for the closing ceremony of the 2012 World Choir Games.

The event capped off 11 days of competition in Cincinnati.

Thousands of singers from more than 60 countries took part in the games.

The closing ceremony featured performances from Tony award winner Idina Menzel, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and the May Festival Chorus.

The crowd was also treated to a performance from the Latvian Voices.

The next edition of the World Choir Games will be held in Latvia in 2014.

9 news anchors Brendan Keefe and Tanya O'Rourke served as emcees for the event.
