ST. LOUIS - With the embers still not out after the fisticuffs of last August's brawl with the St. Louis Cardinals at Great American Ball Park that sparked the Reds to a division-winning run and the Cards into free-fall, one sports blog is looking to reignite the flames in the first big series of a young season by taking advantage of recent Mike Leake-related events.

The blog on KFNS.com , written in part by Matt Sebek, introduced a new t-shirt available for purchase featuring a sketch of Leake's mugshot and the message "Mike Leake stole this shirt for me", making light of the Reds pitcher's recent Macy's t-shirt theft allegations that according to Channel 9 sports sources could just be a large misunderstanding of return policy.

The shirt is available for purchase through SportsPrint for $19.99.

Sebek says with the two main problem-causers of last year's brawl, Brandon Phillips and Johnny Cueto, still making their recovery from injuries, the focus of insults had to turn to someone else.

To check out the shirt and find out how to purchase it, visit http://www.kfns.com/JoeSportsFan/story.aspx?ID=1405328 .

Sebek says this is just the first of numerous "special-edition" t-shirts to be released throughout the season.

One must wonder the real effectiveness of the shirts seeing as how Leake is not scheduled to pitch during the weekend series. Just one informed Reds fan's opinion...
