NEW YORK (AP) -- A person with knowledge of the deal says Time Warner Cable has agreed to carry NFL Network.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity Friday because the deal had not been signed. The news was first reported by Bloomberg.
The nation's fourth-largest pay TV signal provider, with about 12 million homes, had been the lone holdout among the top nine after Cablevision announced a deal in August.
NFL Network began airing regular-season games in 2006 and expanded from only the second half of each season to a full season this year. The NFL initially feuded with large cable companies over adding the channel but had gradually increased its availability.
