INDIANAPOLIS (AP)Butler guard Shelvin Ma - Butler guard Shelvin Mack says he will enter the NBA draft but will not hire an agent.
The announcement came Tuesday morning in a statement issued by the school.
Mack, a junior, says he wants to "explore" his opportunities so he can make an informed decision.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was the Bulldogs' second-leading scorer last season at 16.0 points and was named Most Outstanding Player in the Southeast Regional. He also led Butler in assists (131), was third in rebounds (4.5) and played in each of the last two national championship games.
He is the second Butler player in two years to declare early for the draft. Utah took swingman Gordon Hayward with the ninth overall pick last season.
