LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky players will be banned from using Twitter at training camp.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports Coach Joker Phillips told his team that they have a lot of work to do and don't have time for the social media website.
The player's schedule during camp includes getting up at 7 a.m. and lights out at 11 p.m.
Phillips said the little bit of free time players have should be spent getting to know teammates and the training staff.
Before the shutdown, kicker Landon Foster tweeted that the hardest thing about camp will be the lack of Twitter.
Camp lasts until Aug. 15.
