CINCINNATI - For the first time in the 45 seasons, the Bengals are keeping training camp at home and the team is kicking off the first ever home turf training camp with a bang for season ticket holders.
Players reported to Paul Brown Stadium Thursday for physicals and a team meeting. After that, the team is hoping fans who have season tickets will join them at the stadium for a pep rally, live music and a fireworks show.
The event, which costs $10 for season ticket holders, will also feature face-painting for kids, an autograph session with former Bengals and much more.
Bengals alumni attending the pep rally and autograph session include Ickey Woods, David Fulcher, Jim Breech, Louis Breeden and Bob Johnson.
The pep rally kicks off at 6:45 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.
Season ticket holders who have not yet purchased their $10 tickets for the pep rally will be able to do so at the stadium.
The event is only for season ticket holders, not the general public.
The team is monitoring Thursday's threat of severe weather and the event will continue rain or shine. Fans will be able to bring umbrellas to the pep rally.
