CINCINNATI - The Bengals on Monday announced two acquisitions to the team's offensive line.
Guard Matt Murphy (6-4, 307; Nevada-Las Vegas) was acquired on waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. He was signed to the Colts' practice squad at the beginning of last season. Murphy entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Atlanta Falcons.
Later Monday, the Bengals announced the signing of center Reggie Stephens, a second-year NFL player.
Stephens (6-3, 325; Iowa State) was with the Bengals in the 2011 preseason and played in all four games. He was then waived on Sept. 4 and signed to Chicago's practice squad on Oct. 26 where he remained until season's end. He was signed to the Bears' offseason roster on Jan. 2 and waived by the organization on May 15.
