DRY RIDGE, Ky. - Simon Kenton's sophomore guard, Abby Owings, started the Lady Pioneers off with three steals and six straight points.  She finished with 14 points.  Teammates Hannah Stephenson and Christina Cook began attacking the Lady Braves with a barrage of 3-pointers to lead 37-18 at the half.  Stephenson finished with 23 and Cook had 12.

Grant County's senior guard Billie Hearn led all scoring with 26 points.  Her Lady Braves got to within 10 points late in the game but it was not enough.  Teammates Erica Stith and Macy Wright each had 11 points.

SK (20-9) will play Walton-Verona (25-6) in the district final on Thursday at Grant County.  WV defeated Williamstown Tuesday night 79-40 to advance.  Click here to read about it.
