CINCINNATI - Harrison sophomore Jake Weber was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 9, picking up 19,355 votes (33.62 percent).

The Wildcats’ quarterback earned his nomination by rushing for 144 yards and three touchdown in his team’s huge win over previously unbeaten Northwest.

Elder’s Chris Schorer and Cameron Pangallo finished second and third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with 57,563 votes casted.

Voting will open on Monday morning for Week 10’s nominations.
