Lawrenceburg senior running back Chad Banschbach was voted the Meijer Player of the Week for Week 2, picking up 627 votes (27.64 percent).

The Tigers running back earned his nomination by carrying the ball 25 times for 275 yards with three rushing TD’s and also had three receptions for 62 yards and a score in a win over Milan.

Moeller’s Keith Watkins and Cameron Fogle of Conner finished second and third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com . In total, 13 players were nominated with 2,283 votes casted.

Voting will open on Monday morning for Week 3’s nominations.
