WCPO-TV has partnered with TriStateFootball.com to present the High School Football Player of the Week.

Each week 12-14 nominees will be selected from a large list of some of the area’s top performances and will be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner. The voting opens on Monday and ends each Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Voting is limited to one vote per day, per IP address. Networks may share a single IP, so please be aware of that while casting your vote. Once a player wins once, they will be ineligible to be nominated a second time.

All of the season winners will be recognized and receive a plaque at the TriStateFootball.com Year in Review shows in January.

Here are this week’s nominations:

Joe Burl, Western Hills: Record 10 total tackles (nine solos with 2.0 sacks in the Mustangs win over Amelia.

Nick Collado, Kings: Ran for 274 yards and four touchdowns as the Knights took down Anderson to end the year with five wins in a row.

Spencer Iacavone, Moeller: Accounted for 177 yards of total offense with two passing and two rushing touchdowns as the Crusaders ended Trinity’s 33-game winning streak.

Orlando Johnson, CCPA: Ran for 350 yards and three touchdowns as Lions bring home first ever OVAL championship.

Jalin Marshall, Middletown: Accounted for 259 yards and five total touchdowns (three rushing & two passing) as the Middies triumphed over Princeton.

Max Mazza, Elder: Became the Panthers all-time leader in receptions (123) with six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown in a win over LaSalle.

Austin McCoy, Mount Healthy: Recorded six total tackles, had 1.0 sacks and recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown as the Owls took out Northwest.

Ryan Millikin, Turpin: Amassed 253 all-purpose yards, including 144 rushing while finding the end zone vs. Walnut Hills.

Alfred Ramsby, Colerain: Carried the ball 16 times for 290 yards and four touchdowns as Colerain beat Oak Hills and end the season undefeated.

Gabe Rice, Norwood: Ran for 325 yards with two touchdowns as Indians capture SBAAC American tile in win over Western Brown.

Jonathan Scruggs, Holmes: Rushed for 185 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries in win over Holy Cross.

Luke Turner, Highlands: Pulled in seven catches for 182 yards and four touchdowns in win versus Ryle.
