Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:
Interstate 75 in Ohio: No reported accidents
Interstate 71 in Ohio: All southbound lanes of the I-71 exit to southbound I-71/75 have reopened after a honey spill caused them to close Thursday morning.
Officials closed the southbound I-71 exit at Fort Washington Way at about 6 a.m. Thursday morning after a semi overturned in the area at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The semi was transporting honey and when the vehicle overturned, officials worked to remove the bags of honey from its load. When authorities transported the honey, some of it spilled onto the roadway, causing the additional closure.
Road crews put sand down on the roadway to absorb the honey overnight and early Thursday morning they swept up the mixture with brooms.
The overturned semi shut down westbound traffic on Fort Washington Way until early Thursday morning.
The detour is get off a Winchell Avenue exit, which will run you into Ezzard Charles Drive. Make a left and then another left onto Western Avenue, which will take you to SB I-75, which is open.
